Hello! My name is Aurora, or Diana, whichever you prefer. I live in south-central Minnesota near the town of Wells, sort of between Mankato and Owatonna. I live on a small 3.5 acre farm/forest in the middle of lots and lots of corn with my husband and our mini-zoo. We have an Olde English Bulldog named Otis, a cat named Lazarus, an amazon parrot named Fred and a Boa Constrictor named Impedor. We also have a few cats that live outside and a mish-mash of poultry that roam the yard- 2 turkeys, 2 guinea hens, 2 roosters and a duck. We have a big garden that I try to keep properly weeded all summer, and this spring I got a hive full of bees! I have been collecting ponies since 1983, when my mom brought Glory home from the store. I was hooked. I now have a whole room devoted to the ponies (the biggest bedroom in the house!) and well over 1,000 of them from all generations. In the last year I discovered that I actually really like the g3.5's, the ones with the abnormally huge heads, and I love the FiM cartoon. I have turned 3 of my nephews into Bronies, though only one of them is really good at it, and my mom (Rosalie, or Plush Mommy Surprise) has always been my number one pony hunting buddy. Mom and I are both planning on coming to meet, and hopefully my nephew James will also be there.

Hi, I am nessa16 on MLPTP and MLPArena, or Vanessa/Nessa. I live near Thompson, ND with my parents and husband on a 4 acre farmstead. Thompson is between Grand Forks and Fargo. Me and my husband are both currently back in school. He is in the police academy and I am in pre-nursing. We both already have other degrees (him: Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology, me: Bachelor of Science in Equine Science, minor in Business Administration, Master of Management Practice, CNA certificate). We have had to make career changes, obviously lol, due to the poor job market.
Anyway, we have a small zoo as well even though it has been getting smaller lately. I have a 23 year-old Paint mare named Cherokee, a 10 year-old Husky/Lab dog named Toby, a 3 year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Lab dog named Osiris, a 9 year-old domestic shorthair cat named Isis, a 4 year-old domestic shorthair cat named Anubis, a 4 year-old Comet Goldfish named Treasure and 5 Corydora Catfish-one albino and 4 Emeralds. Oh and about 15 barn cats, a few kittens and some permanent ones-Pumpkin, Gramma Cat, Mama Cat, Crooked-Neck, Casey and Joe Joe. The rest are all strays that we have been trying to catch and take to the humane society because they are eating the rest out of the barn and aren't very nice.
I have been collecting since about 1992. Not an exact year as I can't remember when I got my first ponies or where. My mom swears that she bought me a few from the store but I can only identify one that maybe came from the store due to release years. I do remember getting many from flea markets, thrift stores and garage sales. My older cousin had a big collection with many ponies and playsets. My younger cousin inherited them all and I was always so jealous because she always had more than I did (not any more hehe). The first I can remember getting was Locket at a flea market. I think my childhood Mimic came from the same flea market. I currently collect G1, G2, G3, and G4. I used to hate G3.5s but like Aurora, a few have started to grow on me...mainly the mommy's and babies. I still very much dislike the core 7 ones. Just too scary with the big heads and tiny bodies. G4 is the first generation that I have actively collected while they were in stores. I got a few G2s and G3s in stores when they first came out but wasn't really actively collecting at the time since I was a tween/teen when they came out and thought I was too old for toys (even though I still hoarded all my childhood ones lol). Anyway that's enough about me.

Hi my name is Lisa I am 30 yr old live in Minot ND. I started collecting when I was young and sold alot of them when I bilt my garage and the G2-G3 were comming out. Plus people were making fun of me. Now I do not care and started to collet them again about 4 years ago. I started off with the mail order first because I know they were going to be the hardest to collect. I had kept back a few of my collection but most were sold. Now I have a huge walk in closet of them my pony room. LOL. I have two cats and a husky dog named MIMIC.
I really only collect G1 ponies and just got back from my first meet ever it was awsom to go to FL this year.

Ours was brilliant, I miss her terribly, but there was an angry side to her! Our new dog, Otis, is an Old English Bulldog, and so very very different!

Hey i'm interested in coming to the MN Meet!!! I JUSt love ponies so much i had a dream about them last night i was at this convention but, i had gone late and i found these few ponies that i hadn't had that were 50 cents each!!!!!!! but i had no cash but i was able to charge them on my card, but there was a fee for using the card so i paid a bigger fee then i did for the ponies but i didn't care cause i had gotten some cool ones, even one witha foldable cupcake on it's head..very weird, and some giraffe ones wierd ponies anyway. but the con was closing so i was walking around trying to find more, but then i set the bag of ponies down to look in a bin and then when i looked around to pick them back up they were gone and some other person who had a bought a bunch of ponies before me had them! and i was like those are my ponies!!!!! lol then i woke up and thought i should post that on the forum

Hi!
I'm ringlets_ (also known as Heather). I'm from West-Central Wisconsin. My first pony was Bluebelle. She was waiting in my stocking early one Christmas morning. I collected until I was about 13, took a break during high school, and started collecting again right after high school which was 1997. I found Dream Valley in the spring of 1998 and have never looked back. G1s will always be my first love, but there is room for everyone. I was lucky enough to find fellow pony-lovers (and parents/grandparents too) at work so we often share info and finds. Otherwise I'm not too active online. I mostly just dart into the arena. I used to have a website, but the service ended plus my pics really needed to be updated.
